About Me
iPhone Mamarazzi, homeschooling a super-cool boy, Fangirling BeyoncĂ©, lamenting over racial ugh-ness, gushing over new music discoveries, trying recipes and obsessing over some book definitely for sure at any given moment…one blog post at a time.
I am a mom, wife, lover of mermaids and unicorns and wish they were real.
My BFF and I record and edit our skype sessions about TV shows and films (where we don’t always agree) and share them on YouTube on Girl, Did You See… channel. She’s busy getting advanced degrees and I’m busy afterschooling, so we haven’t Skyped in a good minute, but we’ll be back like The Terminator, yo!
I read. A lot. But not as much as somma y’all. I read The Hunger Games trilogy, and Americanah three times (one of the Americanah times was audio book, which I highly recommend–the narrator does ALL the dialects and accents) and there are real levels to my fandom of BeyoncĂ©.
Traveling with my family is my favorite thing. Watching my son’s passport get stamped brings my heart so much joy because I was 21 the first time I ever needed one. My husband was even older when he did. Thanks to my husband’s work and my willingness to put my career on full-stop 7 years after college to be available to my family, our lives are rich with shared experiences and adventures and I am so grateful for that every day.
I am an independent distributor of Advocare health, fitness and beauty products. Click here to learn how I lost six inches off my waist in less than 24 days. I gained them back when I lost my mind and started eating Popeyes like eating fried chicken twice a week is normal and abandoning my fitness routine, but Imma get it back together. When I do, I’ll link to my results here. Browse my Advocare shop and learn more about the 24 Day Challenge here.
